BLUE PAPER DOVE SILK POCKET SQUARE
This scarf portrays Lisa King documenting the process of folding an origami paper dove through photography, and is the central piece to the Shapeshifter collection. Cut from the finest silk, this pocket square is hand finished in England.
Taking inspiration from the pop art of Jeff Koons, surrealist Eckhart Hahn, and sculptor
Gary Webb, the Shapeshifter collection looks at print illustrating metamorphosis and
deconstructing natural forms.
Paper folds into doves of peace, and orchids transform through five stages of abstraction
to create a camouflage pattern. Oversized colour blocks map out an origami game of
fortune and sit alongside neverending braids of hair.
