"As a former dancer, my work with inks has been a way to visualise how i feel and see music, and to illustrate how dance and movement can be healing through its practice. I wanted to create a film that would portrait three of London's leading movement artists, as well as shed light on the hustle dance scene in London. At the time of recording almost two years ago, we were pre pandemic, and when lockdown arrived, we were not able to practice partner dancing, distancing ourselves from a connection which we all need to live, thrive and survive. I commissioned two friends, singer/ songwriter Anna Pancaldi and producer Oliver Price, to write a modern day hustle track to accompany the dance, with the lyrics as an ode to my late mother and flowers as the metaphor. Dance was seminal in helping me grow through that journey, the physical practice helping me see that there is beauty and positivity even in the hardest times.  Thank you to Tali, Tboy, Inga, Ryan, Ben, Olly and Anna for helping me illustrate this."
