The collection ‘Play’ was inspired by the Abstract Expression Exhibition at the Royal Academy. Lisa King was instantly moved by how free and emotional the art felt, and how physically connected the artist were to their canvases. Inspired by the work of Clyfford Still, Jackson Pollock, Robert Motherwell and Willem de Koonig, the Play collection captures spontaneous moments in time created in inks, printed onto silks for the wearer to enjoy.
